Why do you want to serve on the CMCM Board of Directors?

The Question why are you would like to serve on the CMCM board of directors.
To me the keyword is serve, as a board member I hope to be of service to all the CMCM members one of which I am. I would also like to be of service to CMCM and help to grow it, to help CMCM reach more and do more in and for the area we serve. The North Bay is under served with regard to News services I feel, I know I can help to create a community-based new service, servicing the North Bay.

Fire Safe Marin’s “Wildfire Watch” program premieres this Thursday, September 16 (6:00 – 7:00 PM)

Wildfire Watch is a new one-hour show that will bring you up to speed on wildfire
activity and what you need to do to keep safe in Marin. Fire Safe Marin brings
together the leading experts on wildfire, emergency planning, and fire preparation
to offer realistic solutions that will make a difference.

Featured stories will take you to the front lines of wildfire defense, behind the scenes of Marin’s alert system, and prepare you for power outages. DIY segments show you home fixes for the most common fire hazards. Fire Beat offers a fast-paced look at wildfire prevention projects happening around the county, and Voices of Marin taps into the questions and concerns of residents throughout the area. 

Stream on-demand. The first episode "Ember Storms - When the Power Goes Out" premieres Thursday, September 16 at 6:00 PM with new episodes released monthly. Fire Safe Marin Webinar videos run every Saturday at 7:00PM.

Orientation

Want to create videos to air on Marin TV? Attending a free CMCM Orientation is the first step. If you choose to become a member, you can take our low-cost video production workshops and receive the necessary certifications for using CMCM equipment and facilities for free. Orientations are open to all Marin County residents and organizations and held at 819 A Street in San Rafael on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 PM. PLEASE NOTE: While COVID-19 protocols are in place, Orientations will be held virtually. All registrants will receive a Zoom "invitation link" the day before the session.
